A 50% deposit is to be made on any booking, which is non-refundable. Balance of funds to be settled 14 days before tour starts, funds not settled in time will be treated as a cancellation.
All tours exclude Park fees, Visa and border-crossing formalities.

If a tour is cancelled by the client, a letter, fax or e-mail must be received by Shumba within 14 days before commencing the tour. Once the tour has been paid in full and the client terminates the tour 7 days before tour commences, the client will lose 75% of full fee for that tour.

The change of tour date must reach us as early as possible to see if we can accommodate any alterations, either early or later dates. If the client cannot be available on a changed date, the tour will be seen as cancelled by the client.

A cancellation made by us would entail the client to full amounts of funds received, refunded in South African Rands.
If a tour is cancelled due to war, acts of God, inclement weather or disease, the tour will be seen as cancelled and no refunds will be made.
As the tour is of a recreational nature for individuals, we reserve the right to refuse any person/persons that deem a threat to the tour with no refund.

It is the clients responsibility to have comprehensive personal and medical insurance of their country. In the event of a rescue or medical assistance being requested, the client will be liable for all costs. On the death of a client during a tour, all arrangements and costs of repatriation are the clients cost and Shumba 4x4 Tours and Rentals wil not be held liable.

Indemnity forms to be signed on confirmed bookings.

As printed in the brochure, all breakfasts and dinners are included in each tour.
Alternatives will be stipulated on the tour itinerary.
Tour price excludes alcoholic beverages.
Alternative accommodation and rentals which are not on the tour itinerary are not included.
Alternative events such as river-rafting and game-drives not listed are not included.
Park and reserve fees, VISA and vaccinations are excluded.
The itineraries are subject to change depending on the local situation of that destination, this will entail the client a substitution to another destination of the same value.
All camping is tented on a twin basis. Alternative accommodation will be stipulated otherwise on itinerary.
Shumba 4x4 Tours and Rentals in this regard cannot guarantee an tour on this criteria.
The company reserves the right to change tarrifs due to unforeseen increases or exchange rates fluctuating.
We also reserve the right to change any facilities or vehicles described in the brochure / advertising without becoming liable for compensation or refund.
The company might take photos or fil of clients while on tour and reserves the right to publish or use such material in advertising and promotional efforts without the consent or payment to the client.

Shumba 4x4 Tours and Rentals will not be responsible for loss or injury to any client whether borne by accident by the client or staff of Shumba 4x4 Tours and Rentals. Shumba 4x4 Tours will not be held responsible in any given situation for the property of the client. Any delays or accidents on any tour due to situations beyond our control and any expense incurred will be for the clients own costs.

All self drive tours must be self sufficient as vehicles, accommodation, activities, meals are not included in tarrif unless stipulated.

All persons must have a valid passport for up to a year and valid visa, or the tour is seen as a cancellation.
